Job Descriptions:
Role (1): Direct Sales:
- Identify and engage potential/existing customers to explore sales opportunities.
- Visit job sites, understand customer requirements, and propose solutions.
- Prepare quotations, conduct product presentations, and develop new business opportunities.
- Regularly update sales activities and quotations progress in the company CRM.
- Conduct monthly sales reviews and submit performance reports.
- Monitor market share, competition, and take necessary actions.
- Gather and leverage market info for business opportunities.
- Carry out marketing activities to promote and build product Brand & Image thru trade shows, advertisements, direct mailings, sales seminar, etc.
Roles (2): In Subsidiaries Sales Role:
- This individual should be working closely with the Subsidiaries Sales Team to meet and/or exceed their sales targets.
- Ensure Subsidiaries have a proper sales management system in place to:
- Manage their customer database
- Monitor their enquiries, quotes, sales (delivery) and lost sales
- Monitor market share, gather market and competitive information
- Ensure Subsidiaries and their sales team are well-trained in product and application knowledge to make sales calls, sales proposals and presentation, independently.
- Time-to-time, he/she should make joint visits to Subsidiaries to review their business development and sales progress, carry out joint-sales customer visits and gather market and competitive information.
- This individual is to share and discuss with the Subsidiaries on what he/she thinks, sees and observes in their market place to set up action plans to gain access to the customers inner circle to promote and sell T&L products and services that will give customers good benefits.
Roles (3): New product development:
- Search and conduct market surveys for new business opportunities/products
- Establish business relationships with vendors (manufacturers)
- Support Management in develop business proposal to secure distributorship.
Job Requirements:
- A level or Diploma or equivalent preferred
- An independent professional filled with commitment and passion.
- Pro-active in nature, has good initiatives with a good sense of urgency to deliver high standard and quality results
- Preferably with at least 2 years in sales.
- Preferably has some technical background
- Willing to travel (at least 10-20% of their time)
- Willing to work extended hours (when necessary) to ensure timely submission of work, quotation, etc.
- Has good presentation skills and is willing to learn
- Team player (Team before Self)
- Is honest and has a high integrity
