Position Purpose
To plan, develop, direct, execute, and monitor sales activities within a specified geography, product line, or market segment to achieve established sales targets.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and manage equipment sales budgets, plans, activities, processes, resources, and campaigns, overseeing the operational activities of a sales team for an assigned geography, product line, or market segment.
- Negotiate Sales: Engage in sales negotiations with both existing and new customers of strategic importance to the organization.
- Manage Dealer Relationships: Work closely with dealers in assigned countries to achieve sales growth, market share, and margins.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and budgets, monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas, and adjust procedures or reallocate resources to enhance the overall performance of the sales team.
- Strategic Contribution: Provide market intelligence and customer information to contribute to the development of sales, customer retention, pricing, and distribution strategies, ensuring alignment with market trends.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
