The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with clients. He/She plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building relationships, and expanding the company's market presence within the food industry, contributing significantly to its revenue and success.
Job Responsibilities
- Support to implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets, expand market reach, and increase revenue within the food production sector.
- Identify and prospect potential clients, generate leads, and establish new business relationships through networking, cold calling, and industry research.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's food products, features, uses, and benefits to effectively communicate with clients and address their requirements.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of the company's products.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients, aiming to secure profitable deals and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for business growth.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates, providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as production, logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfillment, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Perform as per assigned by Superior.
Job Requirements
- Minimum GCE O level or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years work experience in sales or marketing area, preferably in food sales/manufacturing industry.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with English and Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Proven sales experience in the food industry, preferably with perishable goods.
- Strong understanding of the perishable food market and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Strong multitasking abilities and patience in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing markets and customer demands.
