Purpose of Position
. Supervise sales representatives to achieve targets.
. Work closely with manager to train and motivate the staff to excel.
. Overcome obstacles created by the competitors by giving feedback to management for strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Establish new strategic accounts and nurture existing accounts to achieve budget sales target.
- Develop business plans for sales accounts that drives sustainable attainment of monthly sales goals and profitability Customer's account plan
- Monitor and optimizes account investments are within company guidelines and budget
- Identify new markets and business opportunities by conducting market analysis and gathering customers feedback.
- To analyse and evaluate sales trends of brands performance to improve sales volume
- To conduct business reviews with major accounts yearly
- Manage and foster strong business relationships with both new and existing key accounts.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects assigned by the company or supervisor.
- To prepare month end management report on sales and competitors activities.
- To help sales representatives sell in new products to existing accounts.
- To seek high volume customers to commit to a sales contract.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in General Trade.
- Preferably experience in FMCG environment / Food Services.
- Experience in managing major accounts and developing new accounts.
- Possess strong presentation, interpersonal, negotiation and skills.
- Well versed in MS Office.
- Mature and result oriented.
- Able to work independently.
- Team player, proactive and takes initiative to drive business.
- High standards of integrity.
- Courteous and friendly.
- Good product knowledge
- Own transport (Car) with Class 3 valid licence or company transport can be arranged.
