Job Description & Requirements
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Sets up growth strategy in Singapore, to develop Manitou Center Singapore Pte Ltd sales in all ways: product range, brand, market segments and applications.
- Strengthen the market coverage through extensive solicitation and networking with Singapore Rental Companies and End Users.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define the sales and rental strategy for the Singapore territory:
- Define and deploy an adapted strategy with the Sales Manager to reach the sales targets: markets, type of customers, products etc.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to define rental pricing policy and strategy.
- Developing local sales and rental marketing strategy with Sales Manager and Marketing team.
- Constantly look for new business opportunities with the assigned product portfolio - Manitou & Bluelift Product ranges.
- Optimize the rental activity:
- Primarily focuses on Warehousing Product Key account generation. (Industrial forklifts and indoor MEWP ranges)
- Follow up rental KPI and identify areas of improvement in the processes
- Define the benchmark and implement actions to increase profitability in the rental business
- Ensure a high customer satisfaction in the Singapore territory through continuous improvement and constant customer engagement
- Drive high customer satisfactory performance and definition of Manitou commitments towards the market
- People Management :
- Ensure a good cooperation between sales, service, operation admin team functions
- Reporting & Coordination :
- Delivery of weekly reports to Sales Manager.
- To liaise closely with the service and operation admin team to ensure that the customers are well serviced.
- To liaise closely with the Accounts department to ensure the outstanding debts or invoice payments are collected within the credit period of payment.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1-3 years of job experience as a sales executive preferably in the Forklift Sales/Rental equipment industry with proven track records.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking business associates.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent and results driven.
- Proven track record in a sales position.
- Familiar with Material Handling Products. (Industrial Forklifts, etc)
- Understanding of MEWP products.
- Familiar with Material Handling products.
