Role Overview
Expected to manage, maintain and expand the client base, MATCHBOOK Sales is a client facing, revenue generative role, which requires significant understanding of product detail as well as the general market environment we operate in. The role therefore requires staying on top of regulatory and economic developments in the financial markets as well as working effectively as part of a global team.
Role Responsibilities
- Represent the MATCHBOOK product internally and externally
- Maintain and regularly generate income from your client base
- Build long term relationships with clients
- Cold calling and new lead generation
- Regular meeting with clients in various forms such as office visits and events.
- Target of three meetings per week with customers, customers should been seen at least three times per year.
- Stay abreast any changes and movements within your account, whether it be a whole bank or a desk within a bank.
- Communicate to the product specialist execution instructions from your client, in an accurate and clear manner.
- Regularly follow up with clients to ensure their expectations are met.
- Complete administrative tasks such as recording client contact and information in whichever assigned CRM tool (currently Salesforce) in a regular and timely manner.
- Work closely with the entire Global MATCHBOOK team and other departments internally to best service clients, attain the business and keep the regular flow of income.
- Build a dependence on the product with the client.
- Think outside the box to ensure bespoke service, giving us advantage vs competitors.
- Ensure regular cross regional communication. With an ever changing environment at the banks, it is important leads and/or information are not lost.
- Maintain a strong proactive attitude
- Drive development implementation with the relevant development team
- Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.
