Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our power technologies product range across a designated set of accounts within a specified geographic territory. You will oversee all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, lead management, technical product selection, and account management. As a quota-carrying position, this role is pivotal to the overall success of the sales team in achieving the assigned revenue goals.
The Job
- Manage distributor accounts across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan.
- Develop and implement a long-term sales strategy for the region, in alignment with the guidelines set by the APAC Sales Manager.
- Analyze market trends in the spare parts industry, assess the potential of the company's and competitors product portfolios, and evaluate distributor networks.
- Collaborate with the APAC Sales Manager to create new product offerings and ensure successful outcomes for each assigned project.
- Increase Dana brand visibility and establish relationships with new distributors in the assigned region.
- Ensure that sales KPIs are consistently met and exceeded.
- Coordinate and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, including safety stock estimates, to the operations department.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.
The Talent
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in automotive aftermarket sales.
- Strong management skills, with experience leading international and diverse teams.
- Proficient in developing marketing and sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, particularly engine and driveline products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic multinational corporate environment.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and other relevant software applications.
