Our client is looking for a driven Sales Manager based in Singapore to enhance revenue growth for a global Hospitality brand.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies, utilizing existing networks, and identifying new business opportunities in Southeast Asian markets. This position involves attending industry trade shows, analyzing market trends, and making necessary improvements to the regional sales strategy. The Sales Manager will aim to achieve sales goals by accurately forecasting needs, preparing the annual budget, managing expenditures, and taking corrective actions as required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets and manage expenditures within budget as specified by KPIs.
- Partner with the Director to develop the strategic Sales & Marketing Plan and Annual Budget for the assigned market.
- Implement strategies from the Sales and Marketing Plan to optimize key account management and identify business development opportunities through effective client interactions, sales calls, and site visits.
- Generate leads and pursue new business through direct inquiries and targeted accounts, applying a structured sales call approach.
- Manage and execute a comprehensive Sales & Marketing Plan for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events, focusing on room hire, food and beverage, and accommodation objectives.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in targeted companies.
- Represent the company at tradeshows, exhibitions, and industry-related events.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales role within the Hospitality or Travel industry is required, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional training.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of market trends and industry initiatives.
- As this position will require a great deal of communication with the Mainland Chinese market you will be required to have a good command of Mandarin and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- This position is only open to candidates with valid working rights in Singapore.
