Job Description

Reporting to the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solution), the primary job responsibilities:

  • Recommend, identify and devise Business Development Plans and Sales Strategies for the Satellite Subscriptions (Airtime) Team, in alignment with Business Unit's Objectives, to ensure profitability and growth in sales revenue.
  • Connect and discuss with identified customers to understand their needs.
  • Prepare and present quotations / commercial proposals in order to follow up on sales matters.
  • Work with the Product Manager to create high quality proposals for the customers, while aligning to customers needs.
  • Provide pre-sales assistance and after-sales support to customers.
  • Implement and execute all business plans, while aligning to our corporate goals, to achieve sales performance target.
  • Liaise closely with the Technical Manager to ensure efficiency in the sales and delivery of systems and services to the customers.
  • Work with Network Support team on customers enquiries and maintain the relationship with existing customers.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Director (Maritime Connectivity Solutions)

Other Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.
  • 4 - 8 years relevant working experience with good sales track record.
  • Good Sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.Experience as Ex-Radio Officers, are added advantages.Good customer contacts withship managers/owners will be an advantage
  • Possess excellent business acumen, communication & presentation skills.
