• Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics and transportation services in Singapore. It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.
  
  
• Role Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible to expand the company's sea freight business. This includes developing sales strategies, building and maintaining client relationships and achieving sales targets.

• Meet and achieve targeted KPI and Budget
  

• Build relationships with new prospective and existing customer
  

• Find cold leads 90% of the time to bring in new sales (Hunter)
  

• Explore business opportunities with existing customers (10%) of the group
  

• Understand customer needs to provide quality service upon successful sales closing
  

• Participate in global and local tenders
  

• Build relationships with all carriers and liners to establish good reputations and rate
  

• Coordinate with all departments locally or internationally within the group to establish the group goal of door-to-door supply chain services.
  
  
• Requirements

• Bachelors degree in business administration, logistics or a related field
  

• 5 years experience with a track record in
  
  - Handling accounts for sales and business development in the shipping lines or other carriers; or
  
  - Sea freight forwarding; or
  
  - Third-party logistics warehouse
  

• Strong knowledge and experience in the sea freight industry
  

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  

• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  

• Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  

• Existing business pipelines and connections will be a plus
