The incumbent is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships by implementing sales strategies for approved products consistent with Ipsen compliance standards and all applicable legal requirements for those key targeted Health Care Providers (HCPs) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.
Sales & Promotion
Effectively communicate the assigned products features, benefits, and advantages to healthcare professionals.
Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives within the designated territory.
Develop relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and understand competitor activities.
Monitor prescription trends and product performance in the market.
Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and competitors.
Share valuable insights on market feedback and customer needs with the management team, contributing to the product and sales strategy development.
Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales reports to track progress and performance. Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulatory guidelines.
Education & Training
Provide in-depth product training to healthcare professionals, ensuring they comprehensively understand the products benefits, applications, and mechanisms of action.
Organize and conduct presentations, seminars, and educational programs.
Account Management
Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new potential clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Regulatory Compliance
Comply with Country/Industry standards on Ethics and Compliance, the Pharmaceutical Code of Conduct, and other applicable regulations and practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Represent Ipsens brands in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
Lead by example and demonstrate the Ipsen pillars of ethical conduct set out in the Ipsen Code of Ethical Conduct and all other related Company guidelines.
Experience / Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, or related field.
Proven sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and medical terminology.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Self-motivated, with strong organizational and planning skills.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively.
This position may require frequent travel within the assigned territory, occasional weekend commitments for conferences or seminars, and flexible work hours to meet with healthcare professionals.
