This position reports to
Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
You will grow sales of the Digital Systems Center in Singapore and associated countries within the region covering wide range of solutions across low- and medium-voltage electrical installations such as protection relays portfolios, Electrical Automation System, Microgrid Applications, modular substations, switchgears measuring and sensing devices as well as Building Management System (BMS) and Smart Buildings Applications (especially in Data Center Segment). Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will also act as the technical point person between customers and extended ABB teams. You are expected to develop a sales pipeline and take a leading role for opportunities to bid for the solutions successfully, either directly or via internal and external channel partners. A specific focus is expected to be given onto growing the BMS orders in Singapore and within the associated region. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Business Division. You will be mainly accountable for: Delivering budget commitments for the Digital System Center business through developing new accounts and maintaining existing customer accounts, Continuously growing the market coverage and the pipeline of opportunities across the entire portfolio, and actively developing new markets (customers / solutions) through implementation of a systematic, Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition, Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions, Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses - Prepare technical clarifications and negotiations with customers during bidding stage, Work closely with different product groups within ABB to provide package and bundle offering which to cover whole spectrum of electrical products (Power Management System, LV / MV Switchgears, Transformers, Drives, Motor) and a total electrical solution to EPCs and end users, Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Qualifications for the role
Engineering Degree relevant to Electrical and Electronics or a Degree in Business
Administration with strong track record and exposure to those industries,
Interest in Digital Systems Solutions (Electrical Automation / BMS),
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer Automation,
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in BMS/SCADA/automation solution will be an added advantage,
Possess excellent presentation and communication skills (oral and written) and be well-versed in representing the company externally,
Ability and willingness to develop sufficient knowledge of Digital System's Center portfolio (technical and commercial) and solutions are to be demonstrated and offered successfully, Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused mindset and a professional, can-do attitude.
