Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the SAP systems.
- Handling system configuration, administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Providing technical support and leadership for SAP systems, which includes implementing patches, managing upgrades, and establishing performance monitoring processes, system configuration, design, and application support.
Job Description:
- Ensure 24/7 availability of SAP systems.
- Manage User/Client Administration, Authorization Management, System Performance Management, Audit Management, Transport Management System, Background Jobs, patch installations, System Backup & Recovery, Kernel Upgrades, and OS & Database Maintenance.
- Conduct SAP Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery.
- Ensure optimal server performance and perform preventive maintenance for smooth daily operations.
- Manage SAP daily support tickets within defined service levels.
- Oversee SAP System Architecture, hardware, and integration landscape.
- Liaise with third-party vendors as needed.
- Deliver all IT projects on time.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge in Basis Administration is a must
- 1 to 2 years of relevant SAP Basis experience
- Basic knowledge on SAP HANA and Netweaver technology
- Interested in processes within software development landscapes
- Prior experience in S4/Hana would be advantageous
- Analytical, meticulous and have good sense in troubleshooting
- Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization
- Able to work independently and lead in projects
