Roles and Responsibilities:
SAP application Production support
Accountable for client deliverables and critical issues.
Regularly perform meeting with all client stakeholders (regional Business team and Client IS&T Managers & Offshore teams/leads)
Needs to coordinate with business users on issue basis
Interface with Third Party vendors/subcontractors as required to resolve issues and facilitate communication taking ownership of the issues.
Analyse the past data incident trend and drive the RCA to understand the reason and implement solutions which will in reduction of Incidents in future.
Ensure proper handoff between onsite and offshore teams on regular basis.
Co-Ordinate for smooth transfer of projects from Implementation team to support team, ensuring that proper KT is done and all documentation like FS, IT Scripts, UAT scripts are uploaded to central Knowledge management system.
Support Month end, Quarter End, Year-end, Chinese New Year, Spring back and Client Special event activities across the year.
Skills /Competencies:
7-9+ years experience in SAP FI module. Should have good experience in working in AMS (Support) projects with large clients, awareness on SLA based model, out of hours critical support coverage.
Experience in working with complex interfaces between SAP and other ERP systems.
Excellent understanding of FI/SD and FI/MM integration. And also, FI integration with external systems like portals, tax systems, stores etc.
End to end configuration and development knowledge in FI including Treasury, Vertex, project systems, IS solutions RMCA or SAP Retail and not pertaining to list only
Expertise to troubleshoot errors encountered with BDC, IDOCS and other load programs.
Mandatory Expertise in AP /AR, GL , Bank Accounting , Asset accounting , Controlling
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Analytical and Communication skills, Planning and Co-ordination skills
Experience in handling month end, quarter end and year end activities
Preferred skills:
Nice to have experience with SAP workflow, Reports, Interfaces, User exits, Enhancements, Forms and Smart for objects.
Proficiency in SAP ABAP debugging and analysis of complex business processes
Ability to develop training documentation, train end users and support business for day-to-day activities.
Experience in SAP job management, Service now, tool, Solution manager
Strong Accounting domain experience will be an added advantage
