We are seeking a skilled SAP SD Consultant to join clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP SD configuration, implementation, and support, with a focus on optimizing end-to-end sales and distribution processes. This role involves collaborating closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to deliver efficient SAP SD solutions that align with business requirements and improve operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet business needs, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, credit management, and shipping.
- Business Process Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and SAP SD solutions.
- Implementation and Rollout: Lead or participate in the full life-cycle implementation of SAP SD projects, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP SD-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve incidents to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Integration with Other SAP Modules: Collaborate with consultants and teams in MM, FI, and other SAP modules to ensure seamless integration and efficient data flow between SAP SD and other areas.
- Documentation and Training: Prepare detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides. Train end-users on SAP SD functionalities and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements within SAP SD to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP SD module configuration, implementation, and support.
- Strong knowledge of sales and distribution processes and SAP SD functionalities, including pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and order management.
- Experience with SAP SD integration with other SAP modules such as MM and FI.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP SD certification is a plus.
- Experience in S/4 HANA environments.
- Familiarity with ABAP programming or debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
