SAS Technical Consultant

The Opportunity.

Thakral One is looking for a SAS Technical Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS programming and data integration, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

The Role.

• Develop and maintain SAS programs using SAS Viya 3.5 and SAS 9
• Design and implement ETL processes and basic data models
• Utilize CAS Action Sets and SAS Studio for programming tasks
• Create and manage SAS Stored Processes, Job Definitions, and Macros
• Integrate and schedule SAS Viya APIs and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
• Use Postman for API testing and integration
• Experience on Fraud Management is a plus
• Nice to have: Experience with SAS Stored Processes, SAS Dataflux / SAS Data Quality, SAS Visual Analytics, Python, JMeter, Data Ingestion and Integration Architecture, and Real-Time, Streaming, and Batch Data Sources

The expertise.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience
• Proficiency in SAS Viya 3.5 programming using SAS Studio
• Experience with CAS Action Sets, SAS 9 Programming, and SAS Stored Processes
• Knowledge of SAS Job Definitions, SAS Macros, and SAS Data Integration Studio
• Familiarity with Postman and SAS Viya APIs
• Experience in SAS Viya Scheduling
