School Nurse needed!!!!!!!

Industry: Schools (Primary & Secondary)

Working hours: Full Time (Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm) , Part Time (Mon-Fri 8.30am to 3.30pm), Flexi-hours available

Salary range: Full Time $2200-2800 / Part Time & Flexi Hours to be discussed depending on hours of work

Location: Orchard

Job Description:

1. Station in the first aid room of the school
2. Attending to students basic injuries (i.e.: cleaning of wound, bandaging of wounds, etc)
3. Assessing students conditions and planning of nursing care requirements
4. Ensure all incident reports are recorded accurately
5. Providing emotional support to students
6. Contacting parents and provide updates on student care
7. Conducting periodic health care talks to students and staff
8. Conduct basic first aid training for staff
9. May have to travel to few campuses to conduct first aid training for staff (transport to be reimbursed)
10. Ensures the first aid room is fully equipped with the necessary materials by ensuring constant stock taking and placing of orders
11. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

1. Patient and passionate for children
2. Ability to assess and react to situations timely and with a sense of urgency
