The Scientific Sales Support and Executive Assistant to the General Manager plays a dual role mainly in facilitating sales operations while providing some essential administrative support to the General Manager. This position involves mainly in coordinating sales activities with some schedule management activities and ensuring efficient communication amongst teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support:Provide administrative assistance to the Sales Division, including sales order processing, generating reports, and preparing quotations.
Compile and manage tender documents for submission.
Coordinate and assist in sales and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Reporting and Analysis:Generate and analyze sales reports, presentations, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Conduct research and compile data for strategic initiatives.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Administrative Support:Assist the General Manager with daily administrative tasks, including calendar management and meeting coordination.
Prepare and organize meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Communication and Liaison:Serve as a point of contact between the General Manager, Sales Division, and other departments.
Collaborate with Operations and Finance on internal workflows and processes.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- A university degree or equivalent in a Science-related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant sales support experience.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Creative thinking, problem solver and resourceful.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
