Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Management:
- Oversee the collection and organization of data from various supply chain functions, including inventory levels, order fulfillment, supplier performance, procurement activities, and logistics costs.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data through proper validation, cleaning, and maintenance processes.
- Manage data storage and retrieval systems to provide easy access to critical information for the entire supply chain team.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights to improve supply chain performance.
- Generate and distribute regular reports on KPIs such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, fulfillment rates, supplier performance, lead times, and logistics costs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance for key stakeholders.
3. Support Strategic and Operational Decisions:
- Collaborate with the Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, and Distribution teams to provide data-driven insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify bottlenecks, risks, inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction process improvement based on data analysis.
- Support the development of supply chain strategies by providing predictive analytics and scenario-based modeling.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by delivering accurate data and forecasting models that align with demand and supply plans.
4. Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring that the department adapts to changing business needs and technological advancements.
- Implement data automation processes to reduce manual work and improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
- Leverage advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning and predictive modeling, to support long-term supply chain optimization.
5. ERP System Ownership:
- Lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of the Oracle system to enhance its usability and functionality.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for system-related issues, upgrades, and integrations.
- Train team members and relevant stakeholders on using Oracle for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles, with a focus on supply chain management or logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- Strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel.
- Proficiency with business intelligence (BI) platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and data management platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data reports, quality and relevance of insights provided to departments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate technical data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and training. Prior experience leading a data or analytics team preferred.
