Location: Central area hospitals (MOT/ Day Surgery suite) or surgery/ specialist centres
Working hours:
Hospitals: (according to different hospitals operational needs)
Surgery/ Specialist Centres: 5.5 days
Responsibilities:
- To support and assist the Surgeons/ Specialists during clinic consults and during surgeries.
- To monitor, observe and assess patients during surgery and post-surgery to reduce risk and injuries to patients.
- To demonstrate good and competent clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in the delivery of quality nursing skills.
- To participate in the care an maintenance of specialized, ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination/disinfection at all times including accurate record of traceability of all equipment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing or Recognised Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Diploma in Peri Operative Nursing is advantageous.
- At least 6 months of clinical work experience in the Operating Theatre or private surgery clinic work setting.
- Registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
- Valid practising license, BCLS and AED certification.
