We are looking to hire a Scrum Master / Product Owner to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.
Responsibilities:
- Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for front-office Equities technology.
- Act as Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Engage with front-office traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the product backlog to ensure development readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency within agile teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks related to equities application development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in trading applications within an investment banking environment.
- Knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office technology systems will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with Equities applications, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, FIX protocol, messaging systems (e.g., Solace), and data analytics platforms will be an advantage
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
