Objective of the Job
Perform clearing and settlement function for Securities transactions across multiple markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, US and Europe. Perform internal record keeping as well as integrtiy assurance through Reconciliations. Rendering quality client service and risk mitigation are integral part of the job.
Key Responsibilities
Clearing and Settlement Function:
- Trade processing submit instructions to SGX, other clearing members, SBL counterparties or other external parties to effect a transaction, through designated systems (*), forms, letters or emails, in response to request made by clients or authorised colleagues.
- Trade capture perform internal booking of transactions executed either by Operations, authorized colleagues, as well as those of clients executed through bank supplied systems.
- Static data setup maintain static data in internal system, necessary for transaction capture, with field values provided by various departments. Examples are exchange, product and allocation.
- Reconciliation perform daily reconciliation of internal records against external.
- Corporate Actions processing.

Required Knowledge and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 3 5 years relevant experience performing clearing and settlement function in a Singapore Exchange Clearing Member firm, or a Singapore licensed bank.
