IFF is a global leader in Fragrance, Flavors and Food Ingredients and we are constantly looking for new challenges and developing new-to-world solutions that answer them. We are now looking for a dynamic talent to join our Asia Commercial team as Senior Account Manager.

Your Focus

As Senior Account Manager for our Scent division, you will be responsible for driving and managing regional business growth across Asia for Key Account portfolio.

How you will Contribute

Regional Category Strategy

  • Create, communicate and execute the business strategy across South-East and North Asia.
  • Manage resources in the projects, aligned with management of each discipline.
  • Participate in the formulation and monitoring of annual budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Deliver commercial targets: sales, margin, commercial performance.

Value to Market

  • Keep close relationship with different levels and areas in the customer's organization with proactive conversations and fast answer to their needs.
  • Identify customer's priorities to orient the focus of internal resources.
  • Establish strong link with IFF internal global organization to align on actions, information and relevant communication to the customer in the region.
  • Keep regional team involved (Commercial, Creative, Technical, Marketing, CI) about key initiatives, making sure they receive what is needed to deliver high-level service.

Innovation Leader

  • Roll out global innovation in the region with presentations of solid business cases to the customer.
  • Identify opportunities and develop plans to deliver proactive propositions for Innovation in Fragrance and finished product.
  • Lead the application of AI tools to connect IFF's creative capabilities, Innovation programs and consumer understanding to deliver submissions to the customer with robust background.

Talent Management

  • Support the development of junior members and interns in the commercial team.
  • Inclusive leadership of project teams.

What you will need to be successful

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry or any other relevant industry.
  • At least 10 years B2B sales and account management experience in Fragrance manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to effectively identify potential business opportunity based on market relevance.
  • Proven track record in Global or Key account business development, creating, driving or delivery of strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Sound understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of the consumers and market needs.
  • A strong negotiator, good business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast changing environment with project management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable in creating compelling communication to drive strategy.
  • Great team player, ability to influence or motivate others to achieve results.
  • Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven or action-oriented attitude.
  • Effective communication skills in English language, both verbal and written. Other languages proficiency will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access).
  • Willingness to travel.
