Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Perform various complex account analyses and reconciliation.
Prepares various financial documents for compliance with regulations.
Coordinates and maintains billings and reports, verifies all billings are complete and reconciled to the general ledger
Monitors and submits all periodic financial documents required by Management.
Handling month-end closing process, and making correction journal entries for account discrepancies, prepares closing journal entries, posts accrual entries, and prepares financial statements
Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements
Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) for assigned countries within region.
Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
Support forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal
Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: -
Degree or professional accountancy qualification recognized by ISCA
Min. 2 years of related working experience, preferably with previous audit background
Strong accounting knowledge and application of accounting standards.
Have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Must be able to communicate with our overseas offices, including Taiwan and Chinese speaking associates)
Must be independent, responsible and committed
Good communication and organizational skills
Able to work with people at all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Experienced with Microsoft Dynamics NAV system preferred, but not a must.
Excellent analytical skills, meticulous, proactive and result oriented.
Able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
Able to start work immediately or within short notice
Work experience in regional is preferred. (Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand)
