This position reports to the Finance Manager and would work closely with the Sales Managers & Business Managers. Specific Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing full set accounts
2. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
3. Prepare journal and reconcile general ledger
4. Perform bank reconciliation
5. Prepare financial reports for business reviews
6. Prepare and file GST submission
7. Handle petty cash claims and reviewing of cash claims
8. Assist in liasing with auditors and tax officers
9. Prepare payroll schedules
Competencies
1. Understanding the practical fundementals of accounting (i.e. Chart of Accounts, General Ledgers, Account Receivables, Accounts Payable)
2. Learning how to prepare and review proper financial reporting through the 4 main types of statements.
3. Acquire proper cashflow budgeting and forecasting skills and understanding important financial metrics (i.e. revenue and expenses).
4. Developing software-computing skills through the usage of professional accounting softwares and improve spreadsheet proficency.
5. Enhance communication skills through interactions with both in and out of organisation personnel (i.e. tax officers, auditors, bank officers).
