Senior Actuarial Analyst (Life Insurance)

Our client is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst (Life Insurance), a financial services institution with 40+ million customers. This role will assist the IFRS 17 reporting team in generating, reviewing, and finalizing periodic financial reports.

Requirements:Responsibilities:

• Strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with IFRS 17 requirements and enhance financial accuracy.
• Participate in UAT processes to validate product launches and model modifications.
• Perform detailed analyses to improve the quality and reliability of IFRS 17 results.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely execution of tasks related to financial reporting and control improvements.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• With 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance or actuarial studies with practical knowledge of IFRS 17 and several years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new financial and technical concepts.
• Proven track record in delivering accurate analyses and insightful commentaries.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across international and remote teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with expertise in crafting clear reports and presentations.

Open to contract for 12 months - renewable!
