About the Opportunity

NextWave is partnering with a globally recognized leader in market intelligence, research, and consulting services within the renewables sector to expand their team in Singapore. They are assembling the core members of their team and are seeking a Senior Analyst (Offshore Wind) to contribute to their regional projects.

Position Overview

As part of the Energy Transition team, the (Senior) Analyst will be responsible for developing original research and delivering insights into the Offshore Wind sector. This includes conducting data analysis and modeling, preparing written reports, engaging with clients, and representing the organization through public speaking engagements. The role also involves contributing to thought leadership on key industry themes and supporting the commercial advisory business. The ideal candidate will excel at building and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders. This position is based in Singapore and requires occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing monitoring, data collection, and analysis for the Offshore Wind sector, producing unique insights, presentations, and reports.
• Lead or support thought leadership initiatives, focusing on specific regions or technologies as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders in the Offshore Wind industry.
• Represent the organization by speaking at industry conferences and events.
• Contribute to business development efforts, client retention, and product development.
• Provide analytical support for the consulting and advisory teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues across sectors and technologies, including adjacent areas such as hydrogen and vessels.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in producing high-quality, data-driven research and insights in clean energy industries.
• Proficiency in Mandarin language at a high level.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Offshore Renewables sector, with expertise in specific regions (e.g., APAC) or technologies (e.g., floating wind) considered an advantage.
