Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

. Analyze the requirement and update the query tracker for any functional queries.

. Analyzed business requirements using Functional Specification.

. Preparation, review and execution of test cases.

. Involve in Automation script development, review, update, debug and execution of automations scripts.

. Extensively involved in Functional, Regression and Re-testing.

. Implemented key-word Driven automation framework using UFT.

. Involve in Automation script development, review, update, debug and execution of automations scripts.

. Defect logging and tracking until closure.

. Preparation, review and execution of test cases in JIRA.

. Extensively involved in Functional, Regression and Re-testing.

. Defect logging and tracking until closure using JIRA.

. Co-ordinate automation team and Maintains automation architecture, framework, technical documentation.

. Attending daily scrum, retrospective and sprint planning meetings.

. Co-ordination and support to UAT users in UAT phase.

. Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject.

12 to 15 years experience in testing (Automation / functional)

Technical / Professional Skills

. Experience inAutomaton Testing using UFT, API Automation Testing using SoapUI

. Experience in testing Client/Server and web- based applications.

. Experience in developing different types of test automation frameworks such as Keyword Driven, Data Driven and Hybrid

. Good Experience in Testing of API Services (REST/SOAP) using SOAPUI.

. Expertise in Functional, System, Regression, GUI, Ad-hoc Testing.

. Expertise in defect logging and tracking with high level of detail, accuracy and informative recreation steps using defect management tools like Quality Centre and JIRA.

. Extensively used Quality centre to maintain test cases, automation test scripts and execution.

. Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile and waterfall models.

Non-Technical / Soft Skills

. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) understand business requirements and translate test cases for testing.

. Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.

. Excellent working attitude.

. Meticulous, highly organize and able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
