Job Opportunity: Associate Fund Finance
Location: Singapore
Our client is an established and blue-chip PE/investment firm. It invests in private equity funds, with a focus on the development and innovation of new investment platforms and products to make private equity (PE) accessible to a broader group of investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance: Good knowledge of Fund accounting with a focus on private equity. Well-versed in accounting principles (IFRS), finance and statutory accounts preparation. Knowledge of tax which include corporate income tax, GST, transfer pricing, FATCA/CRS.
- Attention to Details: Good sense of governance and controls principles.
- Stakeholder management: This role requires a proactive individual who can work alongside the team, drive operational excellence, and foster a collaborative environment. This role work closely with the investment team to engage private equity fund managers to gather necessary information and resolve any due diligence-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Fund Finance, with a focus on private equity funds.
- Skills: Good understanding of private equity fund structures, investment strategies, and operational processes, particularly those of managers in Europe and North America. Technical understanding of cyber and information security controls is preferred. Additional knowledge of private credit funds is a plus but not a must.
