Job Description:
- Support mechanical design, dynamic modeling, and structural simulations of mechanical systems.
- Contribute to software development for motion controllers using ROS/ROS2.
- Support development of front-end and/or back-end software for UI interfaces using the React framework.
- Participate in project implementation trials related to mobile robot fleet management.
- Support engagement in technical project planning and execution for development projects with industry partners.
- Prepare technical write-ups and presentations of project work.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, particularly in the automotive domain.
- Proficiency in dynamic modeling and structural simulations.
- Experienced with ROS/ROS2 for motion controller development.
- Exposed to front-end and/or back-end software development, particularly using React.
- Understanding the use-cases of mobile robot fleet management.
- Exposed to NoSQL/SQL database management.
- Adequate technical project planning and execution skills.
- Able to perform basic technical writing and presentation abilities.
Minimum Qualifications/Specialization:
- Diploma in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience
- Specialization in mechanical systems design and simulation, particularly within the automotive domain.
- Relevant coursework or experience in robotics, control systems, software development (with a focus on ROS/ROS2), and UI/UX design.
- Experience or training in software engineering best practices.
