Senior Assistant Manager, Human Resource Office (1 year contract)

Overview

The NUHS Regional Health System Office (RHSO) is part of the National University Health System (NUHS), a leading academic health system and one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore. Leveraging its position within an academic health system and drawing on the system's research and education capabilities, RHSO strives to build a healthy and engaged population in the west, empowered to live and age well in their homes and within the community.

Through a multi-pronged approach, RHSO brings together NUHS institutions, as well as community health and social care partners to develop and implement initiatives to improve health and anchor care in the community. RHSO also facilitates the integration and transition of care between the hospital and community, as well as the development of new capabilities to deliver care in the most appropriate setting.

Your role is both strategic and hands-on, providing full cycle of HR support to RHSO. This role will work with business leaders and HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) to execute HR initiatives and drive HR functional excellence - focusing on both learning and development (L&D) and awards management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Heads of Departments to understand business complexities by aligning with business objectives, developing resourcing strategies, and delivering hiring plans
  • To perform end to end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, selection, offer, negotiation to on-boarding of new hires for middle management positions.
  • Ensure necessary on-boarding documentation and activities are completed promptly and accurately.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment/outreach fairs as and when necessary. . Improve operations by defining and monitoring metrics to ensure recruiting efficiency
  • Manage and guide team member on resourcing processes, ensuring business objectives are achieved.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably with combination of in-house and external agencies experience. . People-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, meticulous, independent and adaptable to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in healthcare will be advantageous but not a requisite.
