Summary:
NUHS Development Office(DO) supports the National University Health System's (NUHS) efforts in building resources for strategic priorities, through the cultivation of relationships and strategic partnerships with donors.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will be an essential part of the team that manages NUHS Fund Limited, as well as fundraising strategies for key NUHS initiatives.You will be actively involved in the end-to-end development process from raising funds for NUHS priorities, stewarding existing donors and cultivating potential donors.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement effective fundraising strategies to advance NUHS strategic priorities.
- Assist in strategic planning, financial management to ensure continued effectiveness, credibility and sustainability of NUHS Fund Limited. Required to analyse giving trends and prepare bi-annual updates to NUHS Fund Board.
- Work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders to develop articulate and compelling proposals, materials and collaterals which offer attractive value propositions to donors.
- Cultivate and enhance relationships with prospective donors and advocates (individuals, foundations and corporations) to raise awareness of NUHS and its priorities to secure endowments, grants and sponsorships.
- Ensure accountability to donors through the judicious usage of funds in accordance to gift intent by preparing donor reports, and able to execute excellent donor stewardship.
- Manage new staff monthly giving programme
- Organise annual donor appreciation event and fundraising roadshows
- Oversee the NUHCS Heart Fund, a sub-fund of NUHS Fund. To work closely with NUHCS on philanthropy matters such as fundraising campaigns, utilisation of gifts and donor reports.
- Perform other duties and assume such other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor Degree in any discipline
- At least 5 years of work experience Experience in fund raising/ grant making is an added advantage.
- Resilient and resourceful with good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills with proven experience to liaise, consult and negotiate with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
- Personable, people-centric and have an eye for detail.
- Able to work independently or as a team.
