To identify, assess and analyse clinical risk for the organization, such that appropriate mitigation measures can be taken. To ensure that the Clinical Risk Framework is implemented in line with overall strategic direction of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Clinical Risk Management
- To work with risks and process owners across departments to identify risks and ensure the risks are prioritized, mitigated, monitored, managed and escalated in a timely manner.
- To execute and support the implementation of clinical risk management plans and framework for the organisation.
- To understand and integrate data from various sources such as incident reporting, serious reportable events and clinical complaints as part of clinical risk management
- To take ownership of the clinical risk management portfolio and recommend changes where applicable
Horizon Scanning
- Takes a proactive lead in the horizon scanning process
- Organises and analyses risks and possible impact on the organisation
Secretariat to Clinical Risk Management Committee (CRMC)
- To lead secretariat team in supporting CRMC
Project Management
- Lead or participate in projects assigned
Requirements
- Good degree from a reputable university
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and analytical abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of stakeholders
- Relevant experience in quality management, risk management, or both. Healthcare experience is
advantageous.
