Senior Business Analyst
Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 7+ years of experience supporting large regulatory projects in the financial industry, strong process mapping and requirement gathering skills, and some experience with Python to extract data to place at our client, a large North American bank.
Client: Large Financial Institution
Contract: 1 year rolling contract

Responsibilities:
Critical business analyst role required for the delivery of controls associated with multiple regulatory mandates. The main purpose will be supporting reporting data for this large regulatory project. This is a challenging role due to importance of the delivery and the senior stakeholders involved. Business analyst skills technology/python background and negotiating skills are key behaviors and expertise required for the successful individual.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with exposure to the financial industry
- Requirements Gathering: Ability to capture and document business requirements from stakeholders ensuring theyre detailed and clear.
- Process Analysis Documentation: Skilled in analyzing and mapping business processes and documenting workflows with tools like Jira.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills to manage and interact with technical teams product managers and business users.
- Data Analysis Interpretation: Proficient in collecting analyzing and interpreting data to make business recommendations.
- Python Proficiency: Ability to read interpret and understand Python scripts libraries and basic data manipulation tasks.
- Desired Skills User Interface design Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting
