Summary:
This role will be responsible for driving the growth of our energy-as-a-service solutions that support decarbonization strategies across diverse industries. It involves identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting my client's suite of decarbonization solutions that enable clients to reduce their carbon footprint and optimize energy consumption.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of business development strategies for our energy-as-a-service decarbonization solutions.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with potential clients, including utilities, industrial companies, and commercial enterprises, seeking to reduce their carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and prospects, focusing on energy solutions that enable clients to meet sustainability and net-zero objectives.
- Present and demonstrate the value of energy-as-a-service solutions to prospective clients, showcasing the software's capabilities in reducing energy usage, lowering carbon emissions, and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies related to decarbonization, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the energy, technology, or sustainability sectors.
- Proven track record in selling energy-as-a-service solutions or decarbonisation technologies, with a strong understanding of software-driven energy management solutions.
- Familiarity with energy efficiency, carbon reduction technologies, and sustainability strategies is highly desirable.
