As a key member of the Communications team, you will collaborate across various functions to position the organization as a leader in the energy sector, both locally and regionally. Your role will involve promoting the company as an employer of choice and a responsible community member.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute impactful campaigns, creating unique content and messaging strategies to support the company's goals during industry transformations
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to refine perspectives and enhance value messaging
- Craft and pitch media releases, articles, social and digital media content, human interest stories, videos, and infographics
- Provide strategic counsel for media features, proactively identifying opportunities and ensuring positive media coverage
- Manage issues and crisis communications, participating in the emergency response team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align goals and outcomes
- Oversee internal communications, creating engaging content that aligns with corporate strategy and enhances employer branding
Requirements::
- 8-10 years of experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans with high-impact results
- Strong media relations skills and experience in issues/crisis communications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels
