The Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, Ng Teng Feng General Hospital (NTFGH), National University Health System (NUHS), is seeking full-time, accredited gastroenterologist candidates to join as Senior Consultants/ Consultant (depending on the relevant experience).

As Senior Consultant/Consultant, you will be required to carry out the duties as directed by the Chairman, Medical Board and Head of Department in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the Hospital, Ng Teng Feng General Hospital (NTFGH) and the Ministry of Health (MOH). You shall manage patient care, deliver teaching, and contribute to research towards Cluster's mission.

Job Description:

• Performing diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy independently.
• Additional expertise in GI motility/small bowel enteroscopy/ESD/EMR/ERCP/EUS is a bonus.
• Contributing to quality outpatient and inpatient clinical services, including running specialist outpatient clinics, supervising inpatient care, and providing specialist consultations
• Participating in on-call rosters for emergencies (GI bleeding) and clinical service provision
• Providing teaching and supervision to junior medical staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of Division and Head of Department

Job Requirements:

• Basic degree that is registrable and eligible for Conditional or Full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• Completed training and post-graduate qualifications which are recognised by the Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB)
• Able to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients, teaching, and research in a multi-discipline environment
• Fellowship training certification if applicable.
• Active clinical practice in the past 3 years in the relevant specialty
• Possess good interpersonal skill, confident, takes initiatives and a good team player, including working collegially and effectively with intra and inter-departmental colleagues and upholding core institutional values.
