My client is a leading Southeast Asian technology company founded in 2010. They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive impactful decision-making at scale and to influence multiple business lines.

• Collaborate with multiple product teams to understand their unique challenges and objectives in building ranking and recommendation systems.
• Translate business goals and customer needs into actionable technical requirements and machine learning services.
• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven models and systems to support our business objectives.
• Lead and oversee data science projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with objectives and timely delivery.

skills and experience required
7+ years of experience in data science or a related field. Knowledge of recommendation algorithms and familiar with ranking algorithms and performance metrics.

Hands-on experience with Python and machine learning/statistics libraries like scikit-learn, LightGBM, and XGBoost.

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerization technologies.
