Senior Desktop Engineer
One of the world's leading trading firms driven by technology has an exciting opportunity open for a Desktop Engineer. You'll be become a key member of the User Solutions Team that are responsible for any user request and incidents related to IT and Trading Technology.
This role comes with a huge amount of responsibility and requires someone motivated and driven to delivering the best results possible.
Responsibilities:
- Support the globally IT team
- Providing end user support to employees in corporate office and exchange floors
- Building, configuring, and upgrading workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
- Troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of desktop managed servers
- Ensure relevant processes are effective, efficient, and scale, e.g. new employee onboarding
- Provide expertise and training to other business units and technology teams where required
- Provision, maintain, and upgrade our desktop environment
- Work with the Infrastructure team on project work
Skills you need:
- Administration experience or similar
- Knowledge of application packaging and management
- Strong experience supporting and configuring Windows 10
- Knowledge of Group Policy management
- PowerShell experience
- Passionate about technology
- Highly motivated, self-starter who is eager to grow within our organization
- Ability to manage projects independently
