Job Description
Provide guidance and support to Electrical engineers throughout the tendering, design, and construction stages, ensuring adherence to the best practices outlined in the engineering efficiency checklists.
Execute the design checklist and monitor the project's progression to ensure all criteria are met and maintained.
Assess and verify the electrical system designs created by team members to ensure they meet the technical specifications and contractual requirements of the client or customer.
Develop comprehensive electrical tender documents, incorporating detailed specifications and technical drawings.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and emerging engineering practices to ensure ongoing technical proficiency and relevance.
Conduct tendering activities and prepare cost estimates for electrical work on projects before the contract is awarded.
Collect and document lessons learned from projects, brief the Head of Department, and update the Lessons Learned register to reflect these insights.
Assemble and review comprehensive operation and maintenance documentation for project handover and ongoing support.
