Senior Engineer (Civil & Structure)

Job Description:

. Your primary role is to assist the Project Manager & Construction Manager in the planning and day to day execution of projects

. Liaise with sub-contractor, consultants and client-reps for the execution of works

. Ensure timely delivery of projects according to schedule.

. Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports

. Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently

. Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager related to project execution

. Prepare construction methods, identifying risks and form up strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate risks.

. Preparing method statement for construction works including RA and SWP.

. Preparation of RFI for site inspection for construction, MPI test, welding works and post concrete works

. Ensuring that health, safety, environmental policies, and legislations are adhered to.

. Preparing the necessary site reports and other documentation work.

. Coordination with Construction team/ Design Consultant/PE/construction subcontractor, etc. for Detail Design Development.

. Carry out detailed analysis and design of civil, structural, and geotechnical works.

. Prepare design calculation reports and structural drawings for authorities submissions.

. Planning relevant temporary civil structure, plan & section required for the Traffic diversion, such as Drain diversion, Retaining wall, shop drawing development.

. Review and planning for ERSS system for Underground structure using Diaphragm wall such as KP, Decking, Strutting, decking, etc.

. Check/Rectification of all the structural drawing/ shop drawing if required.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's / Master's Degree of Civil Engineering or other related field.

. Comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), , construction sequencing and project schedule requirement.

. Minimum 6 years of civil engineering experience or 2years in a similar role(Senior Engineer)

. Good acknowledge in CAD

. Class 3 driving license

. Familiar with road work construction field

. Be well-aware of Traffic Diversion, Temp. Drain Diversion, and authority approval procedure.

. Be well-aware of Underground Structure/Construction Sequences and related civil design works.
