Position: Snr Test Resident Engineer
Job Description
Test Resident Engineer is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Test Release of New Product and start-up. He/she will be in-charge of monitoring and improving test operational performance (yield, OEE, customer returns, EQC failure), managing process improvement and supporting quality issue resolution and regular audits in test suppliers sites. Successful candidate will also manage projects driven by business needs.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support business units on product manufacturing test r release, including wafer sort / final test / post test, and start-up activities (qualification, validation and production ramp), achieve engineering/ operation / capacity KPI.
- Execute test software / hardware debug to improve test operational performance (test yield, OEE, inline QA failure, customer returns).
- Manage continuous process improvement / BKM programs to achieve zero-defect.
- Conduct quality audits in test supplier factories and drive closure of audit findings.
- Manage projects driven by business need, such as new site certification, resiliency transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Electronics Engineering / Physics
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering and/or test engineering, experience in managing/supporting Test Supplier / test subcontractor is preferred
- Experienced in commercial tester application, e.g. Teradyne microFlex/UltraFlex, Advantest 93k, Eagle 364/800 , NI, SPEA.
- Knowledge of test process controls and quality tools (Product CPK, Correlation, GRR, MSA, 8D, FMEA), certificate of six-sigma, lean manufacturing is an advantage.
- Self-motivated/independent, strong analytical skill, effective communications
- Project management experience/certificate is an advantage
