THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Event Executive will have logistical responsibility for several events per year including conferences and meetings of varying scale.
This role involves close cooperation with Event Managers (Producer) and teams and requires ability to multi-task and take the lead when required, as well as being able to work independently on projects in a high-pressured environment.
THE WORK
- Onsite management of virtual, hybrid or physical events across Asia Pacific region.
- Set, communicate, maintain timelines and priorities on project through timeframes, status reporting, emails etc.
- Deliver meetings and events on time, within budget and participating to the realisation of concepts and proposals
- Participate in production and presentation of proposal to clients (concept, creativity, planning, timeline, budget)
- Maintain and develop long-term client relationship by meeting or exceeding client's expectations
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing third party vendors and venues across the Asia Pacific region.
- Management of stakeholders and assigned team members, including overall resource planning of roles and responsibilities pre-event and onsite
- Conduct internal pre-program briefings and post-program debriefings, including briefing and debriefings.
- Final reconciliation (operational and financial) of all projects handled
- Onsite management of virtual, hybrid or physical events across the Asia Pacific region
- Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing third party vendors and venues across the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to travel for work when required.
THE CONNECTION
- Reporting directly to Director, Experiential
- Works closely in direct contact with the client, reporting, consulting, and communicating to ensure that the client is aware and satisfied of the progress.
THE MUST HAVE
- Diploma/Degree qualification in Hospitality/Business/Marketing
- Being technologically savvy and comfortable with using new tools or software will be highly advantageous
- Traveling onsite inspections and accompanying events as required
- Good level of project management, organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent eye for details
- Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Assistant Event Manager (Assistant Producer) position
