The successful candidate will be part of the Inflight Planning Department in our Customer Experience Division. He/She is responsible for all duties related to:
monitoring and positioning inflight item stock to Caterers and Stations with the intention to ensure healthy stock levels projects relating to design and development of inflight amenities and offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Ensure inventories for inflight amenities are sufficient and ideal to support operations at the same time, reduce excessive use of inventory Plan deployment strategy and recommend solutions to address inventory issues eg excessive stocks or critical stocks Work with Procurement Department and caterers to address operational issues pertaining to critical stocks and irregular consumptions
Contract Management
Work with Procurement Department to review contract quantities, specifications and accurately project usage of inflight amenities and linens for RFQ exercise Children Amenities and SQ Bears: work with suppliers and stakeholders to design, plan projections, uplift policies.
Standards and Processes
Provide training for new caterers prior to cutover including obtaining relevant system accesses and inventory management guidance to stations Duty travel may be required to provide support to SIN and overseas caterers. Objective is to guide them in monitoring inventory, uphold best practices in system usage and conduct station audits
Budget
Ensure budget is provisioned for accordingly Forecast budget based on capacity projections Identify areas for cost optimization
Special Projects
Digital Initiatives such as the Inflight Scheduling System (IFSS) to streamline current manual processes.
Strategic & Tranformational
Actively lookout for inflight items that can be made or packaged with sustainable materials Reduce SUP and carbon footprint by removing plastics and introducing lightweight inflight items
Requirements
Strong quantitative data analytics skills, ability to analyse data critically Budgeting and forecasting Confident and comfortable with numbers and demand projections Intermediate competency with Excel is preferred Ability to multi-task and be adaptable to dynamic operational changes Strong communications skills to convey info and collaborate with different stakeholders Attention to detail and accuracy in handing numerical data
