About Department and Purpose of the Position

The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a national specialist centre under the National University Health System (NUHS). It is the only public cancer centre in Singapore treating both paediatric and adult cancers in one facility.
We are seeking an outstanding and highly motivated Senior Executive to be part of our incredible team, supporting NCIS in the deliveries of FY30 work plan.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Improvement & Innovation

  • Lead and drive quality improvement initiatives within the cancer treatment and patient care domain at NCIS
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to identify pain points and develop strategic solutions for improvement
  • Engage stakeholders, including medical professionals, administrators, and support staff, to understand their challenges and implement effective problem-solving strategies
  • Implement and leverage innovative approaches to enhance cancer treatment methodologies and patient care experiences
  • Support Quality management framework

Project Ownership

  • Take ownership of project together with the clinical lead, overseeing the entire lifecycle from project formation to execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the early phases to assist in proposal scoping and development, contract management and project initiation.
  • Develop a marketing and adoption plan to drive usage of the app among patients and caregivers. (NCIS APP)
  • Any other projects/ tasks as assigned by dept.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure alignment with project goals throughout lifecycle.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, milestones, and potential challenges to stakeholders.

Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, including vendor management and internal stakeholder communications
  • Generate regular reports to update project stakeholders
  • Establish and implement onboarding processes and strategies

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience in a Healthcare, Biomedical, Pharmaceutical environment
  • Knowledge of mobile platforms, technologies and trends
  • Project Management, Budgeting and Resource Planning experience is a plus
  • A positive and can-do attitude
  • Resourceful and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills to work under a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent computer skills (M365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, communication platforms)
  • Possess a high level of attention to details
  • Exhibit professionalism by demonstrating personal accountability, effective work habits, empathy and teamwork
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to exercise good judgement in diverse situations and balance multiple priorities, without sacrificing quality and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong command in English is required. Other language skills are desirable but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and assume additional responsibilities, as required
