In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our organization's data and systems from cyber threats. You will learn from experienced professionals and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Security Awareness: Developing and running engaging security awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and how to identify and avoid phishing attempts and other social engineering tactics.
IT Audit Support: Assisting the security team in responding to IT audit questions by gathering and presenting relevant information on security controls and procedures. Collaborating with stakeholders to address findings and implement recommendations.
Security Monitoring and Analysis: Assisting with the monitoring of security tools and systems to identify and investigate potential security incidents.
Vulnerability Management: Participating in vulnerability scanning activities and working with the team to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities.
Security Operations Support: Assisting with various security operations tasks, such as log analysis, incident response procedures, and security policy updates.
Staying Current: Continuously learning about emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to stay ahead of the curve.
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications in Cyber Security, such as CISSP, CEH, CRISC, ITIL, would be beneficial.
3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on GRC functions
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
