Exciting role in the Public Sector related to Emerging Technologies!
Contract: 11 months
Salary: Up to $5500
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyse policies, regulations and tech trends of key markets in China and identify potential impact to Singapore.
- Develop and implement strategies that support the bilateral ICM relations.
- Maintain strong relations with key stakeholders, including overseas counterparts, tech companies, industry associations and research institutions.
- Manage conferences/ overseas trips/ incoming visits, ensuring close follow-up with key stakeholders in the execution of activities.
- Write informative articles that communicate key policy developments.
- Other adhoc duties as assigned.
Looking for:
- Min. Degree in relevant field (e.g. international relations, public policy, business administration, computer science or engineering)
- Prior experience in the tech industry or consulting firm, with knowledge in government policy development and implementation, emerging technologies, China tech ecosystem, international trade, government structures and processes.
- Ability to analyse complex issues and develop strategic recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with stakeholders
