We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Executive - Sales (GCAM) to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets, developing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our Global Commercial Agency Market (GCAM) operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and grow accounts within our networks.
- Assist in formulating marketing strategies and negotiating freight rates to maximize vessel utilization and cargo volume.
- Maintain an understanding of industry trends and market intelligence for effective commercial recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying potential new/current clients through networking and industry events.
- Provide high visibility and proactive engagement with the target market.
- Collaborate with internal teams for strategic proposals and outreach to potential new clients.
- Undertake additional tasks as required by the supervisor.
Must Have
- 25 years of experience in the shipping industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Proven ability in relationship building with an 80% focus on account management (Farming) and a 20% focus on new business development (Hunting).
- Assertive and analytical personality traits.
- Ability to overcome challenges like fear of rejection and commitment to success.
