About Department And Purpose Of The Position
NCIS is establishing a new Stem Cell Therapy Hub (SCTH) as part of expansion of its Specialised Programmes (specifically Cellular Therapy and Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant) and to become a Reference Centre of Excellence. We are looking for a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager / Senior Assistant Manager (Equipment Maintenance Engineer) responsible for designing, implementing and managing equipment maintenance programs for our manufacturing and lab equipment, and ensure smooth operation of SCTH manufacturing facility.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment qualification and maintenance activities are planned and executed in a timely and compliance manner. He/she will work closely with equipment owners and operation teams to schedule preventive maintenance, handle unplanned corrective actions, and conduct regular inspection of equipment and systems to minimize process interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, scheduling and coordinating of all maintenance and equipment qualification activities.
- Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Working with equipment owners / operations teams on execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities (PM/CM).
- Ensuring that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, cGMP requirements and industry standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for equipment maintenance and equipment validation-related issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance cost.
- Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures.
- Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment. Working with equipment OEMs, vendors and contractors on parts availability, labour and resources as needed.
- Work with equipment owners / operation teams to implement process changes, equipment modifications and system upgrades.
- Knowledge in writing and executing validation documents and SOPs for IQ, OQ, PQ for GMP equipment and automated system.
Key Requirements
- Minimum degree in Engineering / Technical / Science or equivalent with minimum two years of relevant working experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organizing, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge on safety regulations, GMP and industry standards
- Understanding of manufacturing / engineering operation in a pharmaceutical, biotechnological or healthcare industry will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
