Overview
The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing critical financial insights to support the Management's decision making within the Hospital. This includes driving the FP&A activities and financial assessment of strategic projects. As part of the team, the Senior Executive will be actively involved in the analysis of financial performance, forecast/ budget exercise and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. In addition, the Senior Executive is expected to support improvements to existing workflow processes and ad hoc strategic projects. Additionally, the Senior Executive should be eager to learn, ready to face challenges, analytical and a collaborative team player.
Job Responsibilities
Actively drive the monthly reporting and forecast/ budget exercise:
- Assist with the maintenance of the integrity and accuracy of financial models/ reporting templates
- Prepare timely and accurate financial analysis for monthly, quarterly reporting.
- Compile, finetune and provide financial analysis for forecast/ budget exercise
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to investigate variances against forecast/budget/ trends and communicate insights on to the Management
- Participate in the financial assessment of strategic projects
- Assist with other ad hoc reporting activities or projects, as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2 years working experience in Finance audit and/or accounting, or FP&A in a fast- paced environment, preferably in healthcare industry
- Self-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy
- Enjoy working in a team environment and possess a collaborative mindset
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel (advanced), VBA Macros, PowerPoint and Word, as well as data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of coding and RPA will be an advantage.
